COLE M. HOYT
Cole received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2017, where he graduated with Distinction in Major and Highest Honors. He received his Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School in 2020.
While at William & Mary Law School, Cole served as a Dean’s Associate and participated in the law school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution team. He also was selected to be a fellow for the William & Mary Center for the Study of Law and Markets and was a contributing member for the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review (ELPR). His student note, Before Disaster Strikes: Preparing America To Be Disaster Resilient was published in the 44th Volume, Issue 3 of the William & Mary ELPR.
In 2018, Cole served as a summer law clerk for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in Las Vegas, Nevada. During law school, Cole was a law clerk for the Virginia Office of Equal Employment and Dispute Resolution. In the summer of 2019, Cole worked as a law clerk for William Morris Endeavor (WME) Business Affairs division. During Fall 2019, Cole was a law clerk for Walker Morton, LLP, in Chicago, Illinois. Cole also serves as a volunteer with the Medical Legal Partnership at VCU Health System in Richmond, Virginia.
Cole is admitted to practice law in Oregon and will be provisionally licensed in California pending the California Supreme Court’s final ruling on the provisional licensure program for 2020 law school graduates.
